Rogerson from the orderly room records, this book contains the circumstances of the original formation, the stations where it has been employed, the battles, sieges and military operations it has been involved in, details of the regiments achievements, the uniform and badges they wear. Most importantly for genealogists it also contains the names of Officers and the number of Privates killed or wounded by the enemy, specifying the place and date of theaction, names of Officers who have been awarded for their gallant services and meritous conduct, the names of all such Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers and Privates as may have specially signalised themselves in action.
